Talking Movies
Talking Movies is BBC World's weekly guide to cinema, and is presented by Tom Brook, who has been reporting on the subject for the BBC for 20 years. The programme offers honest reviews of new films as they're released in the United States, and interviews with actors, directors and producers on the red carpet at premieres and in longer sit-down conversations. There are reports on new trends in film making and all the latest developments from Hollywood and the independent sector. You can find more about the programme and see clips from past shows .....
Programme Highlights
Speed junkies – whether it’s driving a supersonic car or skimming along at almost 500 kph in a boat, some people need the ultimate thrill that comes from reaching maximum velocity and beyond. But what drives the need for speed? Why do some people continuously strive to push their body to the limits, and push to the limits their incredible machines?
