That was the best episode yet by far, its definitly worth downloading despite the size. Sound and visuals were just awesome. Maybe the explosion could've been a little time less time consuming but that's probably just me.
Keep up the great work! Very Happy

Thanks D! Smile What I was trying to accomplish with the explosion was the whole "Anime" thing. You know how in Anime - when a ship blows up - it doesn't just blow up. They show it from like six different views. Smile

Heh. I like the idea that he randomly knows pointless knowledge. Smile

I thought that would be a fun aspect to play with - like when he really needs to come through - he suddenly shines. Smile

I noticed the audio drop especially when he explains how the explosion of ice and salt work... Adam got a chance to talk to some people who work a radio station... and they gave us some tips... but it requires getting real equipment... which requires real money (turns out Monopoly Money doesn't always work)... So eventually we may head that way. Something I'd like to do to get there faster - is merchandise. Like shirts or something from Cafe Press (or whatever) and basically use those funds to pay for the site every month and towards making NeN better... Smile

Saw this site from the Bioware feature. Hilarious stuff, and episodes six and seven are the funniest... so far! Keeps getting better, with cool effects and camera angles.

I too have noticed the sound levels going up and down. I'm surprised that the radio station people suggested expensive equipment, though. At least for keeping the volume at a consistent 'normal' setting, couldn't that be done with some affordable audio software!? I know nothing about this, but I assume!?

***spoiler***
I loved the attack on the giant ice cube and seconds later the lost sword - great timing, just like with alan the astounding passing out.

And the way Crayson seems to yell "Charge!" at Peter while running backwards seems like he's rubbing it in about Peter's ineptitude. Maybe that was a glitch in the animation, but it seemed funny to me!

The reverse charge was a glitch. But we thought it actually looked pretty funny, so we ended up keeping it. Smile And trust me, we have no problems redoing takes... I think we had to redo the "blast" like five times before we got it right... once because it killed us (too close to the blast)... then when we rendered ourselves immortal, we became immune to knock down... so then I had to manually do the knock down emote... Was so much fun to do this episode.

We have done the audio and filming of Episode 8 - which features my wife doing a voice in the episode! I am very proud of her! I will be editing that probably this week - since my PC is now in working (non random rebooting) order! Smile

Episode 7 is the best so far, hilarious stuff, seemed almost pythonesque with the charging in to battle one moment, then running away 5 seconds later. Keep it up Smile

Thanks! I think each episode gets a little better than the last in terms of our writing. Episode 8 and 9 I am really looking forward to releasing... Especially Episode 9... we push the envelope with that one... and then of course, Episode 10 thru 12 will have everyone's favorite dwarf making his debut, Paul the Dwarf! Smile

So good times are ahead of us... if our site survives the bandwidth from Bioware Weds! Smile
