Recumbent Trike Project
This project was initially to be based upon the 20" Tadpole Trike outlined on Timothy Smith's pages, although as things progress you will note that the design process has been quite fluid !
If anyone has undertaken similar projects I would love to hear your news.
Note - my e-mail inbox has not been working. If you have tried to e-mail me recently (i.e. during June / July / August) I probably didn't get it. Try again using the revised link and also make sure you update your address books. Thanks.
I have split the site into different areas, to assist navigation for both new and regular visitors.
Diary of a Trike - All the thoughts behind my Trike (or how I got to where I am !)
Drawings - These are all linked from relevant parts of the diary or browse through the thumbnails on this page.

For further reading on recumbents, with loads of design notes, plans, ideas etc. take a look at the International Human Powered Vehicle Association website, particularly the builders corner.
Another extremely useful source of information for designers and builders is the masses of information provided by Rick Horwitz - well worth investigating for technical assistance.
The Design and Construction notes collected by Timothy Smith contains many ideas and suggestions plus further links
UK residents who are interested are advised to check out the British Human Power Club
Useful mailing lists can be found by visiting the IHPVA mail list site which contains full details of all the lists available and how to subscribe to them.
