STONE modified BJL Jaguar w/cable.

Stone did a great job modifying this Jaguar for me. It has 2 switches on the back (see other pic) one to set from 50hz to 60hz and the other to go from BJL to standard Jag. It also has different colored light for the 60hz vs. 60hz. Very cool!

Jaguar Kiosks

I have a single player which is being used with my MAS arcade stick. The other unit is a 2 player Kiosk. I have yet to find another person with this model. Very unique.

Atari Jaguar VR Tracker

One of 2 working tracker units that I own. In order to function properly with the VR unit "set # 7" of tracking chips must be used.

Atari Jaguar VR Controller

Not functional, but very cool. Has some internals, but nothing that works. There are 2 known to exist, I believe Curt Vendel has the other one.

Atari Jaguar VR Power Supply

This is the only original VR power supply known to exist. You'd think there would be others.

Blue/Grey Atari Jaguar VR Headset

This is the high-resolution VR headset originally owned by Clint Thompson. This is one of only 2 known working VR units in the world. After Atari rejected the red/grey headset Virtuality went back to the drawing board and created this unit. It has better graphics and functionality.

This is the second known working VR unit. It is lower resolution than the blue/grey unit but is substantially lighter and easier on the "nose".

Atari Jaguar 2 System (Midsummer)

Only 2 Atari Jaguar 2 systems are known to exist. Curt Vendel of the Atari Museum has the only known "working" unit. My unit does not work because what I thought were the Oberon chips are actually not.

Atari Jaguar VR Storyboards

Incredibly unique item used to help sell the VR system to Atari. Zone Hunter was a common well known planned release for the VR system, but did you know Space Invaders was also in the works for the VR? How cool would have that been?

Scatboxes, Catbox, Jaglink 2, Color Slides, Mouse adapters

What is considered by most (including myself) to be the best networking device on the Jaguar, the Scatbox and Scatbox deluxe produced by Scatlogic. In addition a Catbox and a very economical and nicely produced Jaglink 2 by Derek Else. The slides contain various games.

Atari Jaguar Web Cortina

Wouldn't it have been fun to surf the web with your Jaguar? This Cortina made it possible. This is fully functional and software for it does exist!

Misc proto releases and flash carts

Various proto games here. One cool side note: the face in SpaceWar 2000 is that of Lance Lewis (lead tester and level designer for Atari). I actually bought my first Kiosk from him. Very cool guy, but he was told they would never use his actual face in the game. :)

Motorola Test Deck

Very rare and the only one known to exist, this is the Motorola Test Deck. Lance Lewis told me it was used to test unencrypted carts at Atari headquarters. The ROM has been compared to the stub and regular Jaguar and it is indeed different than both.

No markings on this unit at all. On the front you can make out "Test Deck, Motorola". The case is a black rather than the usual grey.

Atari Jaguar Test Fixture

Glenn Bruner is the expert on this and with his help I was able to actually put this item to use! Basically it is used to test the Jaguar system, video, controllers, etc... Another "unplanned" use for it is as an input for music to play through the VLM. Pretty cool!

Atari Jaguar Voice Modems (JVM)

The Jaguar voice modem only works with the game Ultra Vortek. I have tested these units and they did connect and actually played better than DOOM does networked.

Atari Jaguar Games converted to PC (unreleased betas)

This is a large assortment of unreleased (and some released) betas of Atari Jaguar games that were converted to PC. The most prominent and never released is Highlander. There are 4 versions of that (see later pic)

Atari Jaguar Dante.exe needle test

I wish I knew what this was, but you can run it on a PC and it shows a guy with a camera that runs around back and forth and then gets stuck. I haven't been able to make him jump so he can continue on the path. The file is HUGE so I know that isn't all there is to it. I'm guessing this was definitely a work in progress Jaguar game.

Oswald Character Update

Like all my CD's, this was straight out of Atari headquarters. I believe it was their planned mascot of Atari right before they went under. You can manuever the character around and make facial expressions in the demo. This is a PC demo.

Highlander PC prototypes

4 different Highlander PC prototypes. To my knowledge these are the only ones that exist. I did get one of them to work and the game looked very similar to the Jaguar (as expected)

Rocky Horror Picture Show (Interactive CD)

This is very cool to play on your PC. I don't believe it was ever released. I have 2 copies and gave 1 to Glenn Bruner for helping me out with some stuff. Anyone ever seen this before?

Atari Jaguar Painter

What collection would be complete without this recent release of Painter. I have both versions and absolutely love this game. I also had the pleasure of meeting Gordon Gibson (author) at CGE. Very nice man.

Syquest Disks

Large collection of Syquest disks mostly from GoAtari (Computer West). There are some very interesting files on these including 4 different versions of Hyperforce, as well as versions of Soccer Kid, Pinball Fantasies and Cannon Fodder. It also has all the original box and manual artwork for every Jaguar game produced including all the Telegames releases. Good stuff!

Glenn Bruner's Jag Ads (which I LOVE), Primal Rage Master Copy which is an exact replica of the release and 2 Varunas Forces disks from B&C. Tons of potential on Varunas Forces. Would have been a great release!

I'm not sure if you can read it from the picture, but this it says, "Battlemorph #1" in the upper left corner. Could it be the first glass mastered copy of Battlemorph? Plays just like the original.

Atari Jaguar Midi Development Cards

Caves of Fear Gamefilm (Unreleased)

These are later versions of Caves of Fear that were being worked on by another programmer at Atari. They have complete different intro and credit screen vs. the original. I believe he may have been taking it from a short playable demo to a complete game.

Jaguar Ski Demo

Never before seen demo on the Jaguar. This is of a Warren Miller movie utilizing the gamefilm engine. As of yet I haven't been able to interact with the game, so I believe it is just that, a demo, but if anything gives I'll let everyone know.

Misc Jaguar CD demos

Alpine Loader and Test Disk

For those of you who have never seen this before, the CD on the left loads cartridge roms directly into an Alpine board for playing. I know Matthias is working on a more updated version of this program. On the right you have a glass mastered test disk that runs the CES demo.

CES Demo CD's

These are various stages of development of the CES demo which was a loop CD that played scenes from Jaws, Star Wars, Back to the Future and Maverick. One of the CD's also plays a Dragon's Lair demo.

Vid Grid Betas

Various Vid Grid betas. In addition the final ISO 9660 Master PC files for reproduction of the released game and an earlier version as well. In the upper left is beta v.90 for the PC.

Blue Lightning Betas

Various stages of development including the final encrypted version of Blue Lightning. The interesting thing in this lot is the bottom CD which is dated August (after the final release). I haven't been able to find anything different, but you can tell by the lines on the CD that it was used to test or....?????

Prototype Space Tec Joypad

Many of you have seen this in Curt's Museum. He recently sold it to me. :) It is missing one of the overlays for the buttons, but a simple piece of black plastic cut correctly should fix. An incredibly "unique" mock-up prototype and I believe the only one in existence.
