Former Miller Center speaker, and one America's foremost diplomatic historians, George F. Kennan died March 17, at his Princeton, NJ home. Kenneth Thompson remembers Kennan as a personal friend and colleague. Miller Center historian Timothy Naftali's new book Blind Spot: The Secret History of American Counterterrorism will soon be on available for sale. The Miller Center of Public Affairs' American Political Development Program sponsors a Colloquia Series on Politics and History which provides insight into contemporary debates politics, history, and current events.
