  The Mountain Top Historical Society members are hard at work on “Mountain Top  “Past and Present “ Which continues on with the telling of Mountain Top History, as started with “Pieces of the Past”  Volume 1, in 2002 by the students of Crestwood High School.

New Historical Book at 11:03 EST by Webmaster
Mr. Charles Ciesla, a resident of Slocum Township, and a member of the Mountain Top Historical Society, has written a book on the history of Slocum Township.

The Slocum Volunteer Firemen and Volunteer Ambulance Association are marketing the book. Mr. Ciesla is donating any profit from this book to these two organizations.

The 208-page book will be available in November 2004. The price is $30.00. Any one interested in obtaining a copy should contact either the Slocum Volunteer Firemen or the Volunteer Ambulance Association.
