Joe Graf of Epic Games revealed in this thread that Unreal Championships 2: The Liandri Conflict has gone gold and will be in stores very soon (thanks: BeyondUnreal) - we know the game is scheduled to ship April 11, 2005, for Xbox with a retail price of $49.99. In the single player campaign, players will fight their way through new cities and arenas as they take on the role of Anubis in his attempt to retake his peoples Nakhti Rite of Ascension Tournament from the machinations of the omnipresent Liandri Corporation. In the single player tournament, gamers will fight through a tournament ladder as one of the many unlockable characters in the game. Each Unreal character will use their own personalized arsenal of jumping, flipping and spinning moves to help players make full use of the new environments. Unique Adrenaline combo-powers supercharge the strength and deadliness of character attacks and defenses, while cranking up character speed and mobility to superhuman levels. Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict will also offer players the chance to fight head-to-head in eight player tournaments over Xbox Live or System Link.

id Software CEO Todd Hollenshead told GameSpot that people who will attend at QuakeCon 2005 will have a chance to play the Quake IV multiplayer, adding "And because it's also the 10-year anniversary of QuakeCon, we'll have a few other surprises as well". Thanks: Shacknews. We remind you that Quake IV, the FPS with DOOM 3 engine in the works at Raven Software, is a direct sequel to Quake II and take place just hours after the events of that game. Quake IV consists of a combination of solo missions and battles, part of a military campaign against the Strogg homeworld. The missions will be both indoor and outdoor and we will control vehicules from time to time and will use weapons like blaster, machinegun, nailgun and shotgun.

MediEvil Resurrection is an action adventure game developed by SCEE Cambridge Studio for the PSP. One hundred years have passed since the evil Sorcerer Zarok was defeated at the Battle of Gallowmere, heroically cut down by a mortally wounded Sir Daniel Fortesque. Or at least, that's what the people were told; in fact poor Sir Dan was a bit of a coward, falling in the very first wave of arrows. Now Zarok has returned, turning day into night, and raising an undead army to conquer the land. As a side effect Dan has also been resurrected... now, he has the chance to defeat Zarok and in death become the hero he never was in life. Sounds good? If yes, check this second batch of screens. The game should be out this spring.
