Venturing Crew 862 is a chartered Venturing program of the Boy Scouts of America. We portray the 13th Tennessee Infantry Regiment and the Shelbyville Aid Society in the War Between the States.

Rest in Peace Dear Friend

It is with great sorrow that I have to announce the passing of a great friend and companion Dave Rydin who died of a massive stroke on December 25, 2003. He was an inspiration to us all and will be missed. This Crew exists due to his desire to make the history of the Civil War come alive to those around him.
