A nonprofit research and development company, EDC conducts 335 projects in 50 countries, advancing learning and healthy development for individuals of all ages and institutions of all types. Our work strengthens nearly every facet of society, including early child development, K-12 education, health promotion, workforce preparation, community development, learning technologies, institutional reform, and social justice.

Our staff of over 600 includes scientists and educators, mathematicians and artists, community organizers and health professionals, teachers, researchers, and administrators. Many are internationally known experts with extensive experience in research, policy, and practice.
