1) Rinse sections in 0.1M PB.
2) Dissolve 4g sucrose in 90ml 0.1M PB in a 250ml beaker.
3) Add 30mg cytochrome C. (light sensitive - cover beaker with aluminum foil.)
4) Add 50mg DAB. (diaminobenzidine - use 5 10mg tablets; do under hood.)
5) Incubate sections in this medium at 370 C in the dark for 1 hour.
6) Transfer sections into a fresh change of incubation
medium and incubate for another
hour.
7) Rinse in 0.1M PB for 5 min.
8) Transfer slices into a clean well plate
and rinse in 0.1M PB. Put netwells and well
plate in bleach water to detoxify
