Eileen Munzo & Jill Darling

The Posters of Picasso [.pdf file 36K]

“We picked up a book in a coffee shop—The Posters of Picasso. Were we bored? Somehow we became inspired. Eileen had bits and snippets of writing she wanted to do something with. Jill wanted to write answers to questions. It started as a process of making each writer pleased. We would write questions and/or answers, switch, write, switch, write, and then one day…Eileen found the paper cutter and we decided that highlighters would come in handy. At least one version subsequently was performed as dialogue, collaboration and dramatization. We kept working. Read it aloud. Moved things around. Took things out. Eileen shrugged. Jill persevered. It went on like that.

Eileen Munzo began growing up in Paterson, New Jersey and continues to grow in Fort Collins, Colorado with her parakeet Parker.

Jill Darling grew up according to hypertextual specifications. She now works from and with her computer in Colorado.
