Henry Hunter
played by Tobi Atkins

Beth and Jack Hunter's youngest offspring are twins, and they're going through a "difficult phase". Until 2 years or so ago, they were simple country kids who lived on a farm and went to the local school. They loved horses, farm life, board games, sleepovers, camp-outs, and all the things other country kids love.

When Jack decided there was no future on the land, and his kids needed to go away to the city to boarding school, he chose schools which were really out of his price range, frequented by the children of people out of his social status.

Thus, the normally good natured Matilda and Henry turned (temporarily at least) into the twins from hell.

Henry is the elder by 7 minutes, and is fiercely protective of his sister. The twins have always been very in sync - reading each other's minds, sharing secrets, covering for each other. When they went to boarding school they were separated for the first time, and had trouble adapting. Now, the opposite is true - they are trying to get back to where they were, to the closeness they once had - but there's an awkwardness between them they don't know how to deal with. Twins grow a lot in two years apart.

At the heart of their relationship is fierce loyalty and an unbreakable bond, but they are either inseparable or fighting like cat and dog. No half measures once they get over the initial shyness of being back together.

Of all the Hunter kids, Henry is the one who most resembles Jack, his dad, as a person. Forceful, no nonsense, active and capable of being quite cunning and a bit of a bully if he's allowed to be. When Henry wants something, he simply doesn't take no for an answer.

What he lacks in patience, he makes up for in persistence. Shy around girls, he's most at home when he's doing something active, and he loves the outdoors - but would take the bush over the beach any day. When he's angry or worried he becomes the strong silent type, and his wit runs to sarcasm. At first he sees Max as a shrimp - an annoying little brat who is taking his mother away. Over the next year they become best friends - each having qualities the other lacks. And Henry becomes known as "H" - a natural born leader with charisma he doesn't know he has.

he twins adore Beth, but initially feel they have been abandoned, so they act out. Rhys has to prove to them he is good enough for their mother and capable of filling Jack's shoes.
