Each of the following shots will be a closer view to see how the Salt Lake Temple and the Nauvoo Temple, as well as many other Mormon temples not mentioned in this article, are decorated with pagan symbols of the Occult.

Some of the following pictures are used by permission of Dennis and Rauni Higley of

Ever since ancient times and throughout the Medieval Ages, these symbols have been used in Satanic worship. What influence caused these symbols to be used to decorate Mormonism's most prominent temple and LDS architecture?

Satan's first lie recorded in the Bible is in Genesis 3:5, "ye shall be as gods." The doctrines of "exaltation" and "celestial glory" (that people can evolve into gods and goddesses) are rooted in ancient witchcraft (see "A History of Witchcraft" by Jeffrey B. Russell, pp. 158-159; "Drawing Down the Moon" by Margot Adler, p. 25, and "Gnosis" by Kurt Rudolf, pp. 92-93) Yet, these doctrines, complete with the same terminology, are being perpetuated through the Mormon Church today. Satan is deceiving innocent, God-loving people into unknowingly following his oldest and most predominate lie, and he has left his mark all over Mormon temples.

Don't you wonder why the cross is nowhere to be found on Mormon temples and LDS Church buildings? The cross is where our victory over death took place, and yet the LDS Church won't have anything to do with it. The apostle Paul tells us that, "the preaching of the cross is to them that perish, foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God" (1 Cor. 1:18) Satan opposes the cross.

Is the sun, moon and stars a Holy representation of Three Heavens?

What Are The Three Degrees of Glory? LDS claim the Bible teaches three heavens in I Cor. 15:41 when it says, "There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star different from another star in glory." In LDS scripture, the sun, moon and stars are symbolic of the celestial, terrestrial, and telestial heavens (kingdoms or glories) where resurrected people spend eternity (Doctrine & Covenants 76:70-71, 81, 96- 98). LDS believe only devout Mormons go to the celestial kingdom (Gospel Through The Aqes, p. 166). Non-valiant Mormons and honorable non-Mormons will go to the terrestrial kingdom. But most people, including all the wicked except the sons of perdition, will go to the telestial kingdom (Mormon Doctrine, pp. 134, 778, 784). LDS not only believe in those three heavens, but they also believe: "in the celestial glory there are three heavens or degrees" (D&C 131:1). And they believe, while "baptism is the gate to the celestial kingdom, celestial (eternal or temple) marriage is the gate to an exaltation in the highest heaven within the celestial world" (Mormon Doctrine, p.118).

Mormons claim Paul referred to three heavens in I Cor. 15:41 when he wrote of the difference in the glories of the sun, moon, and stars. But, that verse is part of his answer to the two questions in verse 35; "How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?" Verses 36 to 57 have his complete answer. Verse 41 refers to the difference between the sun, moon and stars and verse 42 continues; "So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption " In other words, there is a difference between mortal bodies and immortal, resurrected bodies. LDS also claim verse 40 teaches two heavens when it says, "There are also celestial bodies and bodies terrestrial." But, verse 40 is also part of the answer to the questions in verse 35 about resurrected bodies, so it cannot refer to heavens. In the King James Bible the Greek word epigeios is translated as "terrestrial" in verse 40, but as "earth" in verse 47 (and in Phil. 2:10 & 3:19). Also, the Greek word epouranios is translated as "celestial" in verse 40 but as 'heaven" or "heavenly" four times in verses 47-49. Dictionaries also define "terrestrial" as "earthly" and "celestial" as "heavenly." Translations other than the King James use "earthly" and "heavenly" instead of "terrestrial" and "celestial" in I Cor. 15:40. According to II Cor. 5:1-4, we now have an earthly or terrestrial (epigeios) body which will be exchanged for a heavenly (celestial) body when we are resurrected. No one in the Bible is ever promised another terrestrial body. Joseph Smith coined the word "telestial" in verse 40 of his Inspired Version of the Bible, but that word does not even exist in the original Greek language and it conflicts with all Bible manuscript evidence. The only place that word can be found is in Mormon writings!

If the sun, moon and stars in I Cor. 15:40 refer to three heavenly kingdoms as LDS claim, do the four kinds of flesh in I Cor. 15:39 refer to four heavenly kingdoms? Forcing doctrines into Bible texts when they are not really there opens the door to all kinds of heresy.

But is this LDS doctrine in the Bible? Mormons often point to the witnesses of the Book of Mormon as proof that it is true. To show that is a valid argument they quote II Cor. 13:1:"In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established." Using that same argument, can three heavenly kingdoms, be established by witnesses in the Bible?

What Does The Bible Teach About Three Degrees of Glory?

1. OLD TESTAMENT PROPHETS mentioned only two ways to spend eternity: the dead will awake to everlasting life or to shame and everlasting contempt (Dan. 12:2), heaven or hell are the alternatives in Psalm 139:8, Isa. 14:12-15. No other options are found in the Old Testament.

2. JESUS CHRIST mentioned only two ways to spend eternity in the kingdom of heaven or in outer darkness (Matt. 8:11-12), in life eternal or in everlasting punishment (Matt. 25:46); in the kingdom of God or in hell fire (Mark 9:47); being saved or lost (Lk. 19:10); having everlasting life or perishing (Jn. 3:16); condemned or not condemned (Jn. 3:18); having life or death (Jn. 5:24); having the resurrection of the just or of the unjust (Jn.5:29).

3. THE APOSTLE JOHN mentioned only two ways to spend eternity: having life everlasting or having the wrath of God (Jn. 3:36); having eternal life or not having eternal life (I Jn. 5:11-12); those whose names are not in the book of life are cast into the lake of fire (Rev. 20:15) and those whose names arc in the book of life enter into God's presence in the heavenly Jerusalem (Rev. 21:2-3 & 27). Notice, a name is either in or not in the book of life. No other alternative exists!

4.THE APOSTLE PETER mentioned only two ways to spend eternity: the saved have an incorruptible inheritance in heaven while the unsaved do not (I Pet. 1:3-5) the godly are delivered to a new heaven and earth while the ungodly perish inperdition and judgment (II Pet. 2:9, 3:7-9 & 13).

5. THE APOSTLE PAUL mentioned only two ways to spend eternity: "The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rom. 6:23), believers are saved while unbelievers perish (I Cor. 1:18); the justified inherit God's kingdom but the unrighteous do not (I Cor. 6:9-11); followers of God inherit the kingdom of Christ and of God, but the wrath of God comes on the disobedient (Eph. 5:1-6); believers inherit the kingdom of God, but those who don't know or obey God are punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord (II Thess. 1: 5-9).

What Bible Texts Do LDS Use To Teach Three Heavens?

Mormons use II Cor 12:2 to teach three heavenly kingdoms because Paul spoke of "one caught up to the third heaven." But, the Bible does not say anyone will spend eternity in the first or second heaven. Why not? Because the first heaven is the atmosphere with birds and clouds (Gen. 1:20; Ps. 147:8). The second heaven (sidereal) refers to the stars and outer space (Gen. 1: 14-19). The third heaven is God's "dwelling place" I Kings 8:30). Mormons also use the word heaven in the same three ways (Mormon Doctrine, p.347). In II Cor. 12:2 & 4 the third heaven is equated with paradise, so it cannot be the LDS celestial kingdom which requires Mormon baptism for entrance because the unbaptized thief on the cross went to paradise when he died (Lk. 23:43)

What Does Mormon Scripture Teach About Three Degrees of Glory?

1. The Book of Mormon mentions only two ways to spend eternity: in the kingdom of God or in an awful, filthy hell (I Ne.15:34-35); in liberty and eternal life or in captivity and eternal death (II Ne. 2:27); in never ending happiness or in never ending torment (Mos. 2:39-41) ' in heaven with everlasting life and salvation or under the wrath of God in eternal torment (Mos. 5:5 & 15) ' redeemed and dwelling with God or perishing in their sins (Mos. 15:21-27), in happiness or in punishment as eternal as the life of the soul (Alma 42:16); in everlasting life or in everlasting damnation (Hela. 12:26). LDS claim that the Book of Mormon is "the fullness of the gospel" (D. & C, 20:9127:5) and Joseph Smith said, "I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the keystone of our religion and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts than by any other book" (History of the Church Vol. 4, p. 461). How can that be true when the Book of Mormon never even mentions three heavens?

2. The Doctrine & Covenants is the only book of LDS scripture which mentions three degrees of glory (D&C 76, 88, & 131). But the D&C often mentions only two ways to spend eternity: eternal life or eternal damnation; D&C 29:27-28, 43-44), eternal life or unquenchable fire (D&C 43:25,33; 63 49 & 54), eternal life in celestial glory or burned with unquenchable fire (D&C 10 1 -66-67). This revelation in D&C 101 is dated almost two years after Smith's vision of the three degrees of glory in D&C 78. Did God change his mind? The D&C is not consistent in teaching three heavenly kingdoms! The D&C has also undergone many changes: The 75 pages of the Lectures on Faith were deleted in 1921; The meaning of D&C 5 was reversed from the way it read in chap. 4 of the original Book of Commandments. 13 1/2 verses were added to D&C 28 after it was first printed in chap. 27 of the Book of Commandments. Since many other "revelations" have been changed in the D&C, could the revelations which teach "three heavens" also be changed in the future? If the D&C. came from God, why was it changed? Isaiah 40:8 says, "The word of our God shall stand forever."

3. The Pearl of Great Price mentions only two ways to spend Eternity: in the kingdom of heaven or in death and hell (Moses 6:29 & 59), in fullness of joy or in chains of darkness (Moses 7:57-67). There is no mention of three heavens anywhere in the P. of G. P.

4. The Inspired Version of the Bible by Joseph Smith is printed in the appendix of the official LDS edition of the King James Version where it is called the Joseph Smith Translation. While Smith altered the meanings and verse numbers in many texts, no meanings of Bible verses used in this pamphlet are altered except for the addition of "telestial" in I Cor. 15 40. So, if LDS claim any of these verses are mistranslated they imply that the Inspired Version was not inspired! But if it is inspired, why doesn't it clearly teach three heavens? The only thing Smith added in his Inspired Version about three heavens is the word "telestial," which is not enough to understand that LDS doctrine. Many Mormons think Smith did not complete his translation of the Bible, but in LDS scripture the Lord told him to finish it (D&C 73:4) and publish it (D&C 124:89; 42:56-58). Was he disobedient? LDS records show he completed the New Testament on Feb. 2, 1833 and the Old Testament on July 2, 1833 (History of the Church Vol. 1, pp. 324 & 368). Although the King James Version is the official LDS Bible, they claim it is mistranslated. If it is mistranslated, why haven't LDS prophets corrected it since one of their official titles is "translator"? In 1981, as well as in previous printings, numerous changes were made in all LDS books of scripture except the King James Bible! Yet, before 1981 Apostle McConkie declared that all LDS scripture except the Bible "are accepted without qualification " because they were revealed "in modern times in English" (Mormon Doctrine p.764). Since those books were revealed in English, the changes made in them were not made to correct translation problems. So, why were they changed?

What Is The Biblical Alternative?

In contrast to the changing and self-contradictory LDS scriptures, the Bible declares, "Forever, 0 Lord, Thy word is settled in heaven" (Ps. 119:89). God's eternal and unchangeable word declares there are only two ways to spend eternity; with or without God. "He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life" (I Jn. 5:12). Eternal life with God is a gift to believers and therefore cannot be earned by works (Jn. 3:16; Eph.2:8-9; Titus 3:5-6). Yet, believers can gain or lose rewards in heaven by the way they live on earth (Matt. 10:42, Lk 19:17; 1 Cor. 3:11-15). Unbelievers will also be judged "according to their works" and punished (Rev. 20:13; 21:8). Some will be beaten with few stripes and some with many stripes (Lk. 12:47-48), and it will be "more tolerable" for some than for others (Matt. 1 1:22). Thus, the LDS idea of three heavens does not make God more just in the way He rewards or punishes. But, one must become "a child of God by faith in Christ Jesus" before he can earn a reward in heaven (Gal. 3:26; Jn. 1:12- 13). Since we have all sinned (Rom. 3:23) and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags" (Isa. 64:6); we must receive "the righteousness which is of God by faith" (Phil. 3:9) in order to enter a perfect heaven without polluting it. Rom. 4:6 declares, "God imputeth (puts to our account) righteousness without works" (Rom. 3:21-22, 9:30; 10:3-4, 10, 11 Cor. 5:21). But many, like those in Rom. 10:3, "being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God." Are you trusting in your own righteousness or in God's righteousness to enter His one, true heavenly kingdom?

This evidence is being exposed to you, my friend, because of our deep love for the LDS people, and because you have the right to know. Our hope for Mormons throughout the world who deeply love God and who honestly want to worship God in truth, is that they will realize they've become victims of Satan's deception. Since the early 1800's, Satan has been binding the minds of Mormons around the world from the true gospel; "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world (Satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not." (2 Cor. 4:3-4).

Sun Symbol of Baal

Notice keystones above each arched window and
symbols on columns between the windows.

Sunstones shown on each column.

Close-up of a sunstone.

The above pictures focus on the sun symbol on the Salt Lake Temple. Throughout the Old Testament God punished the Israelites for the worship of the idol, Baal", portrayed by the image of the sun. See "The Two Babylons" by Alexander Hislop, pp. 162-163; also 1 Kings 22:53; 2 Kings 23:4,5,11; 2 Cron. 34:4 and Jer. 11:13,17.

A more accurate display of the image of Baal was found on the Nauvoo Temple.

One of the original stones is incased in a climate controlled glass structure on the site near where the Nauvoo Temple stood.

A facsimile of it is currently displayed across the street to the west of the Salt Lake Temple on a stone mural at the LDS Historical Museum.

From the LDS Bible Dictionary

Baal

Lord, possessor. The Sun-god and the male or generative principle in nature. The principal seat and source of his cult was Phoenicia (1 Kgs. 16:31). He was worshipped with different ideas and rites (cf. plural Baalim) in different places; by Moabites, etc., as Baal-peor (Num. 25:1-3,17-18); at Shechem as Baal-berith (Judg. 8:33; 9:4); at Ekron as Baal-zebub (2 Kgs. 1:2). Baal is by some identified with Bel of Babylon and Zeus of Greece. The word Baal expresses the relation between lord and slave. Becoming utterly abominable from its associations, its use was abjured and Bosheth (shame) was substituted in names compounded with it. (Cf. Ishbosheth, Jerubbesheth = Gideon.) The prophets call Baal The Shame (Jer. 11:13; Hosea 9:10). Ashtoreth was the goddess generally worshipped along with Baal.

Compounds of Baal with a second word denote (1) an attribute of the god, (2) the place or manner of his worship, or 3) something that a place possesses.

Ashtaroth

Plural of Ashtoreth. Idols worshipped with Baal, by the Israelites (Judg. 2:13; 10:6; 1 Sam. 7:3-4; 12:10; 31:10). Also a city in Bashan (Deut. 1:4).

Symbolism of the Occult is also found in the form of the "Moon Stones" which is represented in phases on the Salt Lake Temple.

Symbols of the witch goddess Dana (Artemis),
and used in black magick.
Please note the actual stones between the windows at the top of each pillar and the different phases of the moon that is represented. It is also interesting how the shadow of the oval shaped windows create a crescent moon effect within the window area.

Different phases of the moon have various meanings in witchcraft, all of which are displayed around the temple.

The Moonstone was also very prominent on the Nauvoo Illinois Temple

"By the side of the male head is the Sun, and by that of the female head, the Moon. And the hand on the male side holds the Compass, and that on the female side, a Square." (Morals and Dogmas, pp. 850-851.)

"The moon in phases are symbols of the witch goddess Diana (Artemis), and used in black magic. Different phases of the moon have various meanings in witchcraft. All of which are displayed around the temple." (Why is the Salt Lake Temple Decorated with Satanic Symbols? p.1; A History of Witchcraft, pp. 46-48, 158; What Witches Do, p. 93; A Dictionary of Symbols pp. 214-216.)

"As ...Osiris represented the sun... in Egyptian lore, Isis...represented... the Moon. But the truth is, that Osiris represented the male, active or generative, powers of nature; while Isis represented its female, passive or prolific, powers." (Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, pp. 678, 746.)

"The Druids of Britain and Gaul had a deep knowledge concerning the mysteries of Isis and worshiped her under the symbol of the moon. The moon was chosen for Isis because of its domination over water. The Druids consider the sun to be the father and the moon the mother of all things."
(Secret Teachings of All Ages, p. LXVIII.)

New Moonstones in place pictured here on the reconstruction of the Nauvoo Temple.

Cteis. Symbolized as the moon. "The female personification of the productive principle. It generally accompanied the Phallus...and as a symbol of the prolific powers of nature, and was extensively venerated by the nations of antiquity."
(Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, p.257.)

"The Cteis was a circular and concave pedestal, or receptacle, on which the Phallus, or column [obelisk] rested. The union of these two, as the generative and producing principles of nature, in one compound figure, was the most usual mode of representation. Here we find the origin of the point within a circle, a symbol which was first adopted by the old sun worshipers."
(Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, p. 769.)

Representation of the pillars of the Nauvoo Temple

And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;
Deuteronomy 17:3

And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, [even] two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.
2 Kings 17:16

For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
2 Kings 21:3

And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven. And he took away the horses that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entering in of the house of the LORD, by the chamber of Nathanmelech the chamberlain, which [was] in the suburbs, and burned the chariots of the sun with fire.
2 Kings 23:5,11

Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; [it is] iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear [them].
Isaiah 1:13-14

And they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the host of heaven, whom they have loved, and whom they have served, and after whom they have walked, and whom they have sought, and whom they have worshipped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth.
Jeremiah 8:2

Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen [this], O son of man? turn thee yet again, [and] thou shalt see greater abominations than these. And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD'S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, [were] about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
Ezekiel 8:16-15

It may be important here to note that most all of the temples of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints point to the east, including the "Angel Moroni" that stands at the top of most temples.

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Romans 1:25

This is the universal sign of Satan,
and symbol of opposition to Christ.

This pentagram is all over the Salt Lake Temple above the doors and most of the side windows. It is also found very prominent in its more evil form (bottom part elongated) on the Eagle Gate at Temple Square and on the Logan Temple. Several large inverted pentagrams decorated the Nauvoo Temple.

Here we come back to those arched window keystones. Let's take a closer look at them.

Here you can see very clearly the inverted pentagrams that appear above each arched window around the Salt Lake temple.

Let's take a walk over to the North Visitors Center and go up the spiral walk that takes you to a room with a statue of Christ. Seating benches are usually pushed up against the planter boxes so they can't be seen.

SaltLake11.jpg (16610 bytes)

There are 18 of the inverted stars on the planter boxes. These inverted stars have an elongated point that is pointing down. This is said to be the more evil form of the pentagram.

There is one on the other side also.

"In the architectural plans [of the Salt Lake Temple] it is clear that the upside-down stars that we now see were originally meant to look exactly like those on the Nauvoo Temple, with an elongated point on the bottom." (Symbols in Stone, p. 155.)

"The Freemasons of the United States have, by tacit consent, referred to it (the pentagram) as a symbol of the Five Points of Fellowship. The outlines of the five pointed star are the same as those of the pentalpha or Pythagoras." (Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, p. 358.)

"The pentagrams and sunstones which adorned the Nauvoo Temple were a clear indication of what transpired in side. The occultic face of ancient Baal or Amon-Ra shone forth, interspersed with inverted five pointed stars or Goatshead star (below) associated for eons of time with all pagan and Satanic worship." (Whats Going On In There? p. 61.)

Now on to the most scary site you will see. Remember the picture of the Church History Museum from above, and the mural that is above the glass doors as you go in? In this more close-up picture we want to pay particular attention to the circled area to the top far left. The circle on the right is the sun stone as shown above previously.

Let's take a closer look into the far top left hand corner and see what it is we find. We have two inverted pentagrams both a little different from the other. But none the less they are still inverted pentagrams and Satanic symbols. The one on the left of the two is the most important.

SaltLake17.gif (66863 bytes)

Pentagram found on the cover of the Santanic Bible by Anton Szandor LaVey

Now let's take a look at the symbol that is on the front cover of the Satanic Bible.
I scanned it myself!!!

Here is a picture of one of the window frames to be installed in the NEW REBUILT Nauvoo Illinois Temple.

"In the science of magic the pentalpha is called the holy and Mysterious pentagram. ...the pentagram in the star of Magians; ...by virtue of the number five, it has great command over evil spirits because of its five double triangles and its five acute angles within and its five obtuse angles without, so that this interior pentangle contains in it many great mysteries." (Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, pp.762-763.)

"Egypt, a great center of learning and the birthplace of many arts and sciences, furnished an ideal environment for transcendental experimentation. False interpretations were given to the emblems and figures of the Mysteries, and elaborate theologies were created to confuse the minds of their devotees. The masses, deprived of their birthright of understanding and groveling in ignorance, eventually became the abject slaves of the spiritual impostors. Superstition universally prevailed and the black magicians completely dominated national affairs, with the result that humanity still suffers from the sophistries of the priestcrafts of Egypt." (Secret Teachings of All Ages, p. CI. Emphasis added.)

"In symbolism, an inverted figure always signifies a perverted power. The average person does not even suspect the occult properties of emblematic pentacles. On this subject the great Paracelsus has written: No doubt many will scoff at the seals, their characters and their uses, which are described in these books. because is seems incredible to them that metals and characters which are dead should have any power and effect.

A good instance of this practice is found in the pentagram, or five-pointed star, made of five connected lines. This figure is the time-honored symbol of the magical arts.... The pentagram is used extensively in black magic....The star may be broken at one point by not permitting the converging lines to touch; it may be inverted by having one point down and two up; or it may be distorted by having the points of varying lengths. When used in black magic, the pentagram is called the "sign of the cloven hoof," or the footprint of the Devil. The star with two points upward is also called the "Goat of Mendes*," because the inverted star is the same shape as a goats head. When the upright star turns and upper point falls to the bottom, it signifies the fall of the Morning Star." (Secret Teachings of All Ages, p. CIV. Emphasis added.)

*Baphomet, The Goat of Mendes.

"Baphomet was indeed a common medieval form of the word Mahomet and that not only meant a false prophet but a demon." (Encyclopedia of Freemasonry, p. 124.)

We'll let you make up your own mind. But please ask yourself, how do these compare? Why are symbols that are recognized worldwide to be related to witchcraft and Satanic worship all over the Salt Lake Temple and other sites near the temple? Why isn't the cross, a symbol that is recognized worldwide to be related with Christianity and the price Jesus paid for us anywhere near ANY Mormon building?

And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, [even] all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.
Deuteronomy 4:19

And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
Luke 14:27

Easter Egg Shaped Windows??

Easter is a day that is honored by nearly all of contemporary Christianity and is used to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The holiday often involves a church service at sunrise, a feast which includes an "Easter Ham", decorated eggs and stories about rabbits. Those who love truth learn to ask questions, and many questions must be asked regarding the holiday of Easter. Is it truly the day when Jesus arose from the dead? Where did all of the strange customs come from, which have nothing to do with the resurrection of our Savior? The purpose of this information is to help answer those questions, and to help those who seek truth to draw their own conclusions.

The Pagan Origin of the Easter Egg

The first thing we must understand is that professing Christians were not the only ones who celebrated a festival called "Easter." "Ishtar", which is pronounced "Easter" was a day that commemorated the resurrection of one of their gods that they called "Tammuz", who was believed to be the only begotten son of the moon-goddess and the sun-god. In those ancient times, there was a man named Nimrod, who was the grandson of one of Noah's son named Ham.
Ham had a son named Cush who married a woman named Semiramis. Cush and Semiramis then had a son and named him "Nimrod." After the death of his father, Nimrod married his own mother and became a powerful King. The Bible tells of this man, Nimrod, in Genesis 10:8-10 as follows: "And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the Lord: wherefore it is said, even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar." Nimrod became a god-man to the people and Semiramis, his wife and mother, became the powerful Queen of ancient Babylon.
Nimrod was eventually killed by an enemy, and his body was cut in pieces and sent to various parts of his kingdom. Semiramis had all of the parts gathered, except for one part that could not be found. That missing part was his reproductive organ. Semiramis claimed that Nimrod could not come back to life without it and told the people of Babylon that Nimrod had ascended to the sun and was now to be called "Baal", the sun god.
(Sounds like an Easter Egg hunt?)
Queen Semiramis also proclaimed that Baal would be present on earth in the form of a flame, whether candle or lamp, when used in worship. Semiramis was creating a mystery religion, and with the help of Satan, she set herself up as a goddess. Semiramis claimed that she was immaculately conceived. She taught that the moon was a goddess that went through a 28 day cycle and ovulated when full. She further claimed that she came down from the moon in a giant moon egg that fell into the Euphrates River. This was to have happened at the time of the first full moon after the spring equinox. Semiramis became known as "Ishtar" which is  pronounced "Easter", and her moon egg became known as "Ishtar's" egg." Ishtar soon became pregnant and claimed that it was the rays of the sun-god Baal that caused her to conceive. The son that she brought forth was named Tammuz. Tammuz was noted to be especially fond of rabbits, and they became sacred in the ancient religion, because Tammuz was believed to be the son of the sun-god, Baal. Tammuz, like his supposed father, became a hunter. (Notice the symbols mentioned that appear on the Salt Lake and Nauvoo Temples?) The day came when Tammuz was killed by a wild pig. Queen Ishtar told the people that Tammuz was now ascended to his father, Baal, and that the two of them would be with the worshippers in the sacred candle or lamp flame as Father, Son and Spirit. Ishtar, who was now worshipped as the "Mother of God and Queen of Heaven", continued to build her mystery religion. (In the Mormon temple you are taught that you can become Kings and Queens, Priests and Priestesses. They also believe we have a Mother in Heaven.)
The queen told the worshippers that when Tammuz was killed by the wild pig, some of his blood fell on the stump of an evergreen tree, and the stump grew into a full new tree overnight. This made the evergreen tree sacred by the blood of Tammuz. (Christmas Trees? Also what comes to mind is how revered the blood stain is from Joseph Smith on the floor of Carthage Jail.)
She also proclaimed a forty day period of time of sorrow each year prior to the anniversary of the death of Tammuz. During this time, no meat was to be eaten. Worshippers were to meditate upon the sacred mysteries of Baal and Tammuz, and to make the sign of the "T" in front of their hearts as they worshipped. They also ate sacred cakes with the marking of a "T" or cross on the top.
Every year, on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox, a celebration was made. It was Ishtar's Sunday and was celebrated with rabbits and eggs. Ishtar also proclaimed that because Tammuz was killed by a pig, that a pig must be eaten on that Sunday.
By now, you should have made the connection that paganism has infiltrated the contemporary "Christian" churches as well as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and further study indicates that this paganism came in by way of the Roman Catholic System and is now a prominent feature in Mormon architecture and the religion itself .
The truth is that Easter has nothing whatsoever to do with the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We also know that Easter can be as much as three weeks away from the Passover, because the pagan holiday is always set as the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox. Some have wondered why the word "Easter" is in the the King James Bible. It is because Acts, chapter 12, tells us that it was the evil King Herod, who was planning to celebrate Easter, and not the Christians. The true Passover and pagan Easter sometimes coincide, but in some years, they are a great distance apart.
So much more could be said, but we know that the Bible tells us in John 4:24, "God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
The truth is that the forty days of Lent, eggs, rabbits, hot cross buns and the Easter ham have everything to do with the ancient pagan religion of Mystery Babylon. These are all antichrist activities! Satan is a master deceiver, and has filled the lives of well-meaning, professing Mormons with idolatry. These things bring the wrath of God upon children of disobedience, who try to make pagan customs of Baal worship Christian. You must answer for your activities and for what you teach your children.

These customs of Easter honor Baal, who is also Satan, and is still worshipped as the "Rising Sun" and his house is the "House of the Rising Sun."

How many churches have "sunrise services" on Ishtar's day and face the rising sun in the East?

How many will use colored eggs and rabbit stories, as they did in ancient Babylon?

These things are no joke, any more than Judgment day is a joke.

I pray to God that this information will cause you to search for more truth.

These are the last days, and it is time to repent, come out and be separate.

The above material titled "The Pagan Origin of the Easter Egg" does not necessarily represent the viewpoint of this ministry, but is provided as additional information to you, the viewer, to decide for yourself.

The last items we would like to show you now are also Pagan in nature and have roots in Egypt and in the Masonic Lodge.

Here is the All-Seeing-Eye found on the Salt Lake Temple. It has origins in Egypt as well as Masonry and you may remember seeing one on the back of your $1 bill above a pyramid.

Here we have a handshake that is very representative of the Mormon Temple Ceremony, which of course has it's roots in the Masonic Lodge. You will also notice the Alpha and Omega keystone here, a little wet from rain.

The LDS Church has duped it's people into believing that these symbols are all Godly and they can give you an reasonable excuse as to what they mean. For example the symbol of the sun, moon and stars has often been explained away in this manner. That they represent the three degrees of glory and are described in the Bible;

1 Corinthians 15:41-42
[There is] one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for [one] star differeth from [another] star in glory.
42 So also [is] the resurrection of the dead......

Besides the fact that this verse is being taken completely out of context, the subject being spoken about is only referring to two types of resurrections, that of the spiritual body and that of the natural body. Notice how the LDS church has had to come up with another name for a heaven that doesn't exist? They actually made up a word to fit their doctrine of this so called three degrees of glory. Where in the Bible can you find any reference to heaven as "Telestial" or for that matter Terrestrial? When you look at this entire chapter in context you will see that there is reference given to only two places which Mormonism has equated to heaven. Terrestrial and Celestial. Terrestrial is strictly in reference to the earth or our earthly bodies. Celestial is in reference to one heaven or our heavenly bodies after they are resurrected.

When you use the analogy given in the Bible and then derive graven images from it and then put them on our places of worship they become idolistic and an abomination to God. Putting our focus on things that are Pagan in origin and tearing our focus away from the cross where our Savior paid the price for our sins. Did he or did he not say, "It is finished"?

Almost all of the new smaller temples have the symbol of the sun (Baal) on them in one form or another. Yet nowhere to be found is the universal symbol of Jesus Christ, the cross.

Matthew 16:24
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Luke 14:27
And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

It is our hope and prayer that you will be able to see the true origin of the Mormon Temple and all of it's signs and symbols inside and out. For me, it took a 15 years to begin to realize that the god of the Mormon Church is not the Holy God of the Bible.
