Chris Morris Factgasm: The Day Today on 10th Anniversary DVD

The previously unseen pilot episode of The Day Today is to be included on a new DVD.

The Chris Morris series, which featured Steve Coogan's first TV outing as Alan Partridge, is being released on disc for the first time next month to mark its tenth anniversary.

And the two-disc set will also include six spoof news segments that never aired in the original BBC TWO series. Other extras include extended scenes and a 'behind the scenes' programme.

"The DVD is being released to mark its tenth anniversary."

The show attracted more than 3 million viewers when it originally aired, and has sold 106,000 copies on video.

The three-hour DVD is released by the BBC on April 26, priced £15.99.
