In 2004, Time Warner Cable was named “Operator of the Year” by Multichannel News. Each year the award is given to the cable operator who stands out as a leader in the industry.

Today, Time Warner Cable continues its aggressive roll out of new products and services including High Definition Television (HDTV), Digital Video Recorders (DVR), Video On Demand (VOD) and wireless home networking (Wi-Fi) to interconnect multiple computers in the household with a single broadband connection.

Time Warner Cable’s Road Runner high-speed Internet service recently increased its maximum download speed to 5 mbps from 3mbps. Road Runner was named the 2004 Site of the Year by Favourite Website Awards for its innovative design.

In April 2005, Road Runner Business Class, Time Warner Cable’s commercial broadband service, was ranked “Highest in Customer Satisfaction” among broadband data business customers, according to J.D. Power and Associates 2005 Major Provider Business Data Telecommunications Services Study. (SM)
