Lawrence E. "Larry" King Jr. ran the Franklin Community Credit Union of Omaha, Nebraska and was a prominent fundraiser for the GOP before pleading guilty to embezzlement. He was the ring leader for one of the largest, and still little known, child sex rings involving youth from Boys Town and organized child sex parties.
A documentary, Conspiracy of Silence, detailed all of the facts about the abuse of was produced. It was banned by congressional manipulation from ever airing on television. A copy of the tape was sent anonymously to former Nebraska state senator and attorney John DeCamp one year after all copies were supposedly destroyed. The movie can be found on various file sharing programs such as BitTorrent. The case still awaits public notice and justice.
