"Science" or the Bible?

Note from the cartoonist:

The Bible is the infallible Word of the Creator God, (2 Timothy 3:16, 1 Peter 1:23-25, Proverbs 30:5, Psalm 33:6, Mark 13:31) and as such, has not changed over time because it needs no correction. Time and again, alleged Biblical "errors" have been shown to be unsubstantiated (see, for instance, the "Countering the Critics" section on the AiG web site). On the other hand, throughout history, many theories and ideas opposing God's Word have come and gone or have been revised to include the "latest discovery". While this "flexibility" may seem advantageous to some, using "evidence" which will be shown to be in error in the future is hardly a good basis for "proving" that the Bible is wrong. I choose to stand on the SOLID ROCK of the Word of God and not trust in the shifting sand of fallible man's opinion.

2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,"

1 Peter 1: 23 "having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the living word of God, and abiding forever. 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of men as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls out, 25 but the Word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the Word preached as gospel to you."

Proverbs 30:5 "Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him."

Psalm 33:6 "By the Word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth."

Mark 13:31 "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away."
