HET INVERSION EXPLAINED

HET Inversion, which is an abbreviation for Health Enhancement Technique, is a simple isometric exercise or position.  This position encourages an adequate supply of blood flow to the overall stomach area which has been deprived of needed blood.

The method is very simple.  Lie down, face up, with the buttocks resting on a firm pillow which elevates the abdominal area five inches.  Be sure to read all instructions and view the photographs before beginning this method.

HET Inversion works because it permits your overall stomach area to reverse its gravity load direction, and the organs of the abdominal cavity will move slightly downward toward your chest area.  This allows added blood to flow to many areas where it has been restricted due to the gravity load of the normal and daily upright position.

In addition, the inverted position permits the gas within the digestive tract to move upward to the rectum for expelling.  With the passageway free of gas, blood can flow to replace the gas.  Thus, better circulation is encouraged.   Remember that gas, with no known digestive purpose, merely takes up space needed by your blood.

This may be termed "fresh blood", for it contains the normal amounts of oxygen and nutrients that are necessary for your body to function well.   The pooled or stagnated blood resulting from damage by ACDS is replaced, and the tired blood is returned to be replenished for further use.

Now the time has come to begin your own daily routine of HET Inversion.

Step I

    A.  When you are ready for bed for the night, lie flat on your back, bend your knees, and place your feet as close to your buttocks as possible.  See photo#1.

    B.  Raise your buttocks high enough to slide a pillow under them.  You may need to use more that one pillow.  Be sure the base of your stomach is approximately five inches above your mattress or, in other words, above your upper chest area. See photo#2.  You may wish to have a pillow under you head or neck.

   C.  If your back or hips feel uncomfortable, place a riser pillow under your feet.  See photo#3.

    D.  If your knees seem to separate, place a sheet over them to hold them together.  Another option is crossing your legs.  See photo#4.

   E.  When you feel you are about to fall asleep, remove the inversion pillow(s) and place them to the side.

Step II

If you awaken during the night and wish to fall quickly back to sleep, or if you experience discomfort from your illness, repeat Step I.

Step III

   A.  Set your alarm to go off one hour before your usual time of rising.

    B.  Repeat Step I

    C.  It is easy to use the Fetal HET Inversion position (See photo#5) in the morning because ingested food is not lumped in your stomach.

Photo#7- Try HET Inversion while resting on the couch or sofa.

Photo#8 and #9- You can comfortably watch TV or read from the bed or floor while doing HET Inversion.
