What is Venturing? Some think it is Boy Scouts or Girls Scouts. Well, in a way it is, we practice the high standards that the Boy Scouts of America have set for the youth and adults within the program. However, it is very different, Crew 937 is a group of young adults (male & female) that meet bi-weekly for about an hour to plan cave trips, raft trips, laser-tag, horseback, etc. There are no knot tying, leaf recognition, animal scant readings or helping little old ladies cross the street. Well, you should help little old ladies cross the street anyway!

Do I need to be a Boy Scout to join Venturing? That is an easy answer, NO! All you need to be is a young adult (male or female), who has completed the 8th grade and under the age of 21 years old.
