ON THE SCENE!
Moments after the recent terrorist bombings in Jerusalem, the Terror Victims Association
responded to the emergency. Cars with teams of volunteers rushed food and drink to the hospitals where families of the victims were gathering.
Volunteers sat with families outside of operating rooms, offering encouragement and counsel. Others babysat through the next day and night so that parents could be at the bedside of
their wounded children. All through the week, trained volunteers and victims of past terrorist attacks visited the hospitals to bring
support and relief to the stricken families.
WE ARE THERE AFTER THE HEADLINES FADE!
After the headlines fade from the news, the Terror Victims Association
continues the work of helping the victimized families. Problems of disability, emotional stress, depression, nightmares, unemployment and marital conflict are common.
In addition to arranging for professional counseling,
families who have been victimized by terrorist attacks in the past
help families who are suffering now.
The Terror Victims Association has been helping terror victims
for the last 16 years.
Your donations are vital to our success.
What would the United States do if it experienced
742,170 terrorist attacks that
wounded 231, 715 and
killed 30,855 of its citizens
in just 21 months??
When you take into consideration the
population ratio of 55:1 between the
United States and Israel you can more easily
understand the shocking magnitude of the tragedy that has befallen Israel...in less than two years.
