Wireless company Centennial Communications has begun sounding out potential buyers to sell itself, the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday, citing people familiar with the matter. A deal could fetch as much as $1.5 billion, the paper said.
The firm may still decide against a sale and any deal is months away, the paper said. It also cited a person familiar with the matter saying that Centennial is considering splitting up its businesses.
