Currently, Premium Pearls do not drop. We will bring them back into the game once we figure out a favorable implementation of these special items; there is not specific ETA for this change and all players that have the old Premium Pearls will get to keep them in the interim.

Hurricane Katrina Structure Maintenance Relief
On Friday, September 9th, 2005, all Structure Maintenance will be turned off indefinitely. When structure maintenance resumes, we will make an announcement 1 week in advance.
This relief includes all in-game player structures.
This does not include Player City Maintenance costs. City Maintenance costs are still in effect, but the buildings themselves are exempt.
Thank you for your support.

Valarian Quest Update
In Publish 23 we are going to be introducing a new set of quest featuring the Lady Valarian. In order to do this we have to turn off the old Valarian quests that started with Kavas, went to Ind and then finally to Lady Valarian.
To transition the player base starting in Publish 22 Kavas will no longer start the quest for players. Players currently on quests from Kavas, Ind and Valarian will be still able to complete them.
At publish 23 these old quests will be turned off and players will not be able to finish them.
These new Valarian quests are oriented to players with Combat Levels in the mid teens. The new quests can be completed only once, but players who did the old Kavas/Ind/Valarian quests will be able to do the new set.
