The formation of casts requires the interaction of urine pH, concentration, stasis, and protein. These factors work together, with or without cells, to form the various types of casts
Oval Fat Bodies can occur with Fatty Casts (Maltese cross appearance on polarized light, can be identified with Sudan Black stain)
