Sponsor Transport
Sponsors  will be accommodated either in hotels or cruise ships. These locations will be linked to the Olympic venues and the Sponsor Hospitality Centre at the Athens Olympic Sports Complex. The sponsor transport system aims is to provide the sponsors with a safe, reliable and convenient transportation system. Through this exclusive system, our clients will be able to visit all of the destinations they need to, in competition areas, accommodation and tourist/cultural sites.

Sponsor transportation will be operated mainly by the sponsors’ transport managers or by hospitality agents. ATHOC’s role will be to:

Maintain constant and dedicated contact with all the sponsors, through the use of Account Executives that will be assigned to each sponsor. The dedicated Account Transport Executives in close collaboration with Sponsor Hospitality Functional Area and under the supervision of the Sponsor System Manager will ensure that all clients’ requests are properly noted and handled.


Sponsors will also be provided with the following services:
Dedicated, direct, on-time transportation according to schedule upon arrival/departure, to/from the accommodation sites and the Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos
During Games time the Sponsor Network will transport sponsors from their accommodation sites to the Competition venues and back.
Sponsor coaches will arrive at the venues in the nominated access points, move front of house to the appropriate dedicated sponsor set down rank, where passengers alight and enter via the spectators access point into the venue.
Drop off / Pick up areas and parking space for sponsor coaches, are located in close proximity to the entrance of the venues.
