Pros
  • Larger screen and larger buttons than the Game Boy
  • System was inexpensive
  • Games cost less

Cons
  • Games were of very, very poor quality.
  • Games had little to no depth

Why it Failed
Supervision was nearly a direct clone of the Game Boy with a larger screen and larger buttons, with the same battery life. However, the reason Supervision couldn’t compete was simply because of the games. They were essentially generic games with little to no depth that had better, extended versions on other consoles. While games were cheap, the system never caught on.

Little Known Facts
Technically, there are four versions of the Supervision out there, all four of which failed against the Game Boy even though four different companies tried their luck at it (VN TOYS, Goldnation USA, Quickshot, and Magnum International).

Notable Titles
CrystBall (Breakout clone)
Juggler
Sssnake
Penguin Hideout
