WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE

ARCATA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT

AND

ARCATA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT

Arcata Fire is a combination department, joining the Arcata Fire Protection District and the Arcata Volunteer Fire Department.  We are located in Humboldt County, California in the heart of the "Redwood Empire".  The Arcata Fire Protection District staffs two stations (one in McKinleyville and one in north Arcata) on a twenty-four hour a day basis with one firefighter each for immediate response. Our headquarters station is staffed by the chiefs during the day and by volunteers at night and on weekends.
