As many of you will know, we've had a few dramas getting the first issue of Worldwide Jam out. But what has happened in the past, should remain exactly where it is, in the past. We now have a great opportunity to produce the magazine we all wanted right from the start.

Worldwide Jam WILL BE IMPARTIAL, UNBIASED AND BALANCED.

Think of Parkour like any other major sport or art form. Whether it be baseball, football, Formula 1, U2 or Coldplay, we all have our favourite teams and bands that we follow, but isn't it better to have a resource that covers all aspects of our interests and passions. Worldwide Jam Magazine will cover Parkour, Pure Parkour, Real Parkour, FRPK whatever you're into. We're not going to draw lines in the sand and tell you what you can and cannot do.

When we say that Worldwide Jam is a magazine written 'by traceurs for traceurs', we mean just that. We now have over 40 writers, photographers, filmmakers and designers from all over the world working on the mag. They're all traceurs just like you and all have something to share with the global Parkour community.

The idea is that the core team of Worldwide Jam correspondents will get out there into the streets and find what's going on. They want to know about your crew, what got you into Parkour, how it's changed your life, where are the best sites in your region. They'll ask the leading PK organisations in-depth questions about their philosophies and what they stand for. They want to know what you think, you, the traceur who gets out training no matter what the weather is like, the ones with broken bones, bleeding knuckles and ripped tendons. They want to know what makes you tick, what your issues are and how would you change things given half the chance.

Worldwide Jam IS ABOUT FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION

In every issue, we'll have Master Classes from some of the worlds greatest PK technicians. There'll be articles on nutrition, fitness and health, you can even read movie, music and book reviews submitted by readers.

If you've written an article, taken a great shot or done some blistering artwork, share it with us and the readers. Simply get in touch, send it in for review and if it's good enough, we'll print it.

NEW LAUNCH DATE
Right now we're finalising the content for Issue #1. In the next couple of weeks the printing date will be locked in and we'll be able to give you the new date for delivery. Check back with this page for more details.

The first three issues of Worldwide Jam will be bimonthly and limited to 10,000 copies only. You can get your hands on a copy by subscription, through leading Extreme Sports stores (to be announced) and from distribution PK Crews around the world (to be announced). We'll only be reactivating the subscriptions once we have the new launch date fixed.

WRITERS, DESIGNERS, PHOTOGRAPHERS & FILMMAKERS
We have been inu
ndated with requests from a whole bunch of creatives wanting to get involved with the magazine but we're still hunting for more. You DON'T have to be a professional, just someone who wants to share their views, techniques, sites, or anything else you feel will be interesting to other traceurs.

We'd like to build a relationship with crews and individuals from every global region and have them report on what's happening in their own area. We'll only publish what YOU, the reader, want to hear about, so send us suggestions for topics. If your topic is chosen to be researched and published, you'll get the credit in the mag.
