Mexican Trains Dominoes Mexican Trains Dominoes
This game has a huge following in America, which is where many of our customers discover it. It's a variation on the traditional dominoes game. You have your own 'train' of dominoes to play on as well as occasionally being allowed to place dominoes on other players' trains and then there is the 'wild' area; the mexican train.
There's a good deal more skill and strategy than the dominoes you might remember playing as a child, it comes with Compendia's highest recommendation.
Mexican trains is played with double nine or double twelve dominoes. This is a set of double twelve dominoes with coloured spots, in a tin and includes the starter hub and four small plastic trains specifically for the game mexican trains.
There are 91 tiles in a set of double twelves. The tiles are 5cm x 2.5cms x 1 cms.
Please note that the starter hub and trains are not available for sale separately in the UK

Pit Pit
A game where you don't have to take turns. Sometimes called Bull & Bear this boistrous game has been a family favourite for over 100 years and is still going strong, it's based on the Chicago commodities trading market.
Try to collect sets of different commodities, but instead of picking up or putting down cards in order simnply say say, 'sell three' and hope another player will trade with you. You'll soon find that speaking quietly won't get you anywhere and even if you scream 'sell three' you might end up with cards in exchange that won't get you anywhere. So try aqgain, louder.
Rounds of Pit have been known to get so boisterous that we've been banned playing in the pub after work! Not one for sedate families but fantastic good fun.
