    I have won my game aginst John Anderson from England. I was handling the white pieces and the opening was D76: Fianchetto Grünfeld: Main Line with 7...Nb6. Please see the table which is updated !

    I have finished my game agianst the player from Finland wich is known as "The Land of the Thousands Lakes"  (actually there are 187888 lakes! ). Georg Österman was the player and we agreed a draw after we had played 40 moves. Georg was handling the white pieces and the opening was B33: Sicilian: Pelikan and Sveshnikov Variations.     I have finished another game in this greate tournament, this time against Valery Pankratov from Russia. Valery was handling the white pieces and the opening was E97: King's Indian: Classical Main Line (6...e5 7 0-0 Nc6): 8 Be3 and 8 d5 Ne7, not 9 Ne1. We played 23 moves before we agreed a draw.     I have finished my game against Werner Nitsche from Germany. The end game was quite special, where I had two horses and pawn against his one bishop and two pawn !. But it alle ended in draw after we had played 57 moves. I was handling the white pieces and the opening was E97: King's Indian: Classical Main Line (6...e5 7 0-0 Nc6): 8 Be3 and 8 d5 Ne7, not 9 Ne1.     Another game is finnished for me in this fine tournament, and also this was a Dane who got a draw after have been a pawn down in the endgame. The player was Ove Søgaard and we played 51 moves.     Another game is finnished for me in this fine tournament and this time did I lose ! Peter Valent from Austria come up with a TN in the opening and won convincing.     I have finished my first game in this fine tournament and this was against my Danish friend Sören Peschardt. I won this game after Sören made a clerical error in a some better position for me. The opening was Dutch Defence and the the line was the "Stonewall and with the variations with 5.Nh3" . I am not sure if this variations have the ECO code A90 or A91. I was handling the white pieces and we played 29 moves.

    I have finished my last game in this tournament and this was against Aldo Solari from Peru. Aldo was handling the white pieces and lost the game after we had played 62 moves. The opening was English ( A25 ). After this win did I end up with 8 points of 10 possible. This was also the GM norm on this table and means that I got my fifth GM norm !.     I have startet to play my games against GM Conny Persson from Sweden.We are playing on board 3 in this Jubilee match  between our countrys, Sweden and Norway. The start date for this tournament is today 17th May 2005. This is also the day Norwegians celebrate the establishment of their constitution and their dissolution of the Swedish-Norwegian Union year 1905. 100 year jubilee this year !.

    I have finished my first game in CL 2004 - 2006.  Group C2 board 1. This was a draw against Salvatore Giannetto (ITA) who is playing for the team "Eridano Chess Team". I was handling the white pieces and the opening was a line in the King´Indian (E66). I made a error when I swaped his name against someone other in my analyses, and because of this did I make a clerical error. After that was the position perhaps some better for him, but he accepted my draw offer. Please see the table which is updated !.

    Also the second game ended draw ..... So my match against Josef Sykora (CZE) ended 1 - 1. This games was played in the friendly match between our countrys, Czech Republic and Norway. We was playing on board 1. and this was my black game. I was a pawn up in the end but it was not possible to win the endgame. We played 36 moves and the opening had ECO code A21.     I have won my first game in this fine tournament and this was against former CC World champion Dr. Fritz Baumbach from Germany. Fritz made a small mistake in the opening which was the Queen´s Gambit
    ( Lasker´s Defence ) ECO code D56. and after that had he problems and could not save the game. I was handling the white pieces and we played 29 moves. Please see the table which is updated !.

    I have finished my first game of two against Josef Sykora (CZE). This games are played in the friendly match between our countrys, Czech Republic and Norway. We are playing on board 1. and this was my white game. We played 24 moves,the opening had ECO code A05 and the result was draw.

    I have finished my first game in this tournament,  and that was against Michel Lecroq from France. The result was draw, somebody would called it a "Grandmaster draw"  since we just played 13 moves. Michel was handling the white pieces and the opening was a line in the Sicilian Defence (B92).     I have won my first game in this tournament and this was against Klaus Herrmann from Germay. Klaus was handling the white pieces and the opening was some kind of King´s Indian Defence (A48) without c2-c4. We played 38 moves before Klaus resigned. Please see the table which is updated !.

    I have finished my last game in this tournament. This was against Guntis Gerhards from Latvia. and it ended draw after I was a pawn up in the endgame but it was not possible to win. Guntis was handling the white pieces and it come to a end after 52 moves. Please see the table which is updated !. I got 9½ points of 12 possible and won the group. This means 2 things :  1. That I am qualified for an European Championships final. 2. That have got my fourth GM norm !.

    After my win against Allan Savage offered I draw in my second game against Med Samraoui from (ALG) which he accepted. This means that I won my match against Med with the score 1½ - ½.. In this game was I handling the white pieces and the opening was the "English opening" (A35). I would like to say "thank you" to Med who was so sporty to step in when Mr Anilkumar from India went silent. This also mean that I have finished this tournament with the score 6 points of 8 possible, this was also the GM norm for this table !. Please see the complete table.

    I have won my game against Thomas Cuno from Germany. Thomas was handling the white pieces and the opening was a line in the Classical King`s indian ( E97 ). We played 45 moves before Thomas resigned the game. I have now only one game left in this tournament but have already won the group and qualified for a European Championships final.

    The last game in this fine tournament is finished and my Congratulations goes to the winner, Mr Wolfgang Zugrav with the fine score 10½ of 14 and a outright first place. I got the second place with 10 of 14, Stephane Goerlinger also got 10 of 14 but I had the better SB. I also would like to say a big thank-you to all my competitors for making this such an enjoyable and hard-fought tournament!! Take care all my chessfriends !
