Welcome to the web site of the LPSCA. We are a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation set-up to promote chess amongst primary school age children in Leicestershire.

In order to do this we assist schools and their teaching staff in setting up and running school chess clubs and we encourage children to come to our weekend training sessions and competitions where we provide professional chess coaching to international standard and select and run the Leicestershire county Under-9s and Under-11s squads.

News: Unfortunately we have had to cancel December chess training as numbers are likely to be low due a competition in London that day. That is likely to be it for LPSCA this year but stay tuned to our training diary for the Spring 2006 dates coming soon.
