Mr Vineet Jain
(Chairman)
A giant among media barons and a hands-on leader, Mr Vineet Jain, Chairman, TIL, Managing Director, BCCL, has innate faith in the future of the new media. Mr Jain's optimism and faith in Team Indiatimes motivates each member of the team, junior or senior, to give his/her very best. His attention to nitty-gritty management has created a new culture in Indiatimes, where operational excellence is as important as strategy or vision.

An ideas man, Mr Jain has pioneered the Times Group's forays into new areas, be it internet (Indiatimes), radio (Radio Mirchi), retail (Planet M) or television (Zoom). He has taken the group's flagship newspaper, The Times of India, to newer and younger customers by introducing lifestyle supplements. What is so extraordinary about Mr Jain is his ability to drive each of his group's new ventures with equal zeal.

Mr Mahendra Swarup
(Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer)

Mr Swarup has led Indiatimes to the position of industry leader in all spheres of new-media business. From his early days with the company, Mr Swarup recognised the boundless potential of interactive technologies/content and the group's huge marketing potential. At a time when the industry was on a downswing, he chose to head Indiatimes. Under his guidance, Indiatimes has grown into a global web entity with a raft of new business streams.

Prior to Times Internet, Mr Swarup was part of the Pepsico India team. He was the Executive Director - HR and is widely known in the HR world for his Business - HR skills. He began his career with ACC Group as a freshman from FMS, Delhi. After 15 years of distinguished stint with Nestle India, Mr Swarup joined Sun Breweries in Moscow and was instrumental in establishing the first Russia-wide brand of beer and successfully led their IPO.

Mr Sukanta Dey
(Director, Telecom)
Mr Dey plays a key role in maintaining Indiatimes leadership in the mobile value-added services market. He leads a committed team of professionals who handle alliances, product development, marketing and communication. Mr Dey is a well-known figure in India’s consumer products and telecom markets. He has earlier worked in senior positions with Idea Cellular, PepsiCo and Singer among others.
