2006: MARITIMES OFFICE
Stéphane is moving to Halifax at the end of February to jump start the GWN office and give a hand to Courtney. Courtney's our official Maritimes booker, so if you are a promoter and need some of our bands to Rock a club near you, contact her at courtney@gwnrecords.com.

2006: DVDS...
Yeah, we are working on two different DVDs for the new year... A soon to be a classic, GORGUTS' DVD, which will include a show at the Whiskey A Go-Go from the Obscura tour, never before seen footage, pictures and a cool, exclusive interview with Luc and Big Steeve to close the book on the GORGUTS kult... The other one is a GWN documentary-type DVD. A very cool project for us, this will cover up most of the GWN active roster with cool videos, tour footage, interviews, Live stuff, pictures, some "making of" stuff and what not... fu stuff!

2006: NEW BLOOD...
We do not have that many new bands in the roster right now, but we've added up THY FLESH CONSUMED, COLLAPSE, HELLACAUST, TIME KILLS EVERYTHING and DAGGERFALLS to the team... Be on the look out for new band sections, details, infos and new braincrushing mp3 files!

2006: THE OLD GUARD...
TOWARDS DARKNESS (a.k.a. THE MASS, currently in the studio) and FUCK THE FACTS (scheduled to hit Studio En-Phase in February) are releasing new albums in May... We are still figuring out our schedule for the 3rd quarter of 2006 but we can already confirm that it will be a bone crushing FALL for everybody into Québec's extreme music and bands! PAROXYSM and BRIEF RESPITE are hitting the studio in 2006... We will keep you posted.

2006: GWN ON THE ROAD...
We are currently booking some of our tours for 2006; Already confirmed is a 5 dates trek for PAROXYSM and COLLAPSE in the Maritimes in early April. PAROXYSM is adding up more shows in February, headlining a festival in Jonquière and destroying a stage the day after in Dolbeau... A bunch of summer dates with NEGATIVA are in the planning stages... In May, BRIEF RESPITE will be sharing the stage with HELLACAUST for another Maritimes tour... TALAMYUS will be supporting TERRATOMB on (you guessed it, right?!) a 5 dates in the Maritimes in June... TALAMYUS is also gearing up for more shows and this time with a few heavy weight contenders like UNEXPECT, AUGURY and MOONSORROW! Their record launch party was sold out, both bands (the opening act was DAGGERFALLS) were fantastic!!! The almighty FUCK THE FACTS will hit the road in May or June for more extensive touring, which will cover the entire country and most definitely the US of A... They should be touring within the Maritimes with THY FLESH CONSUMED but nothing's definitive as of yet... TOWARDS DARKNESS should be hitting the road this spring to promote their yet untitled 2nd album, with a possible huge record launch party in Montréal sometimes in May... CORTISOL, a band that really doesn't do anything like anybody else, are trying to figure out a way to hit the road... in Europe! More on this as things develop. They should also be hitting a stage near you, supporting LONGING FOR DAWN in March... And believe it or not, FISTFUCK will be touring a bit this summer for a week or so in Québec and the Maritimes... NEWS, IN BULK...
NEGATIVA, managed by Rémi from GWN, will not be releasing a MCD for the label as they wish to concentrate on getting the best possible deal from one of the various (already!) interested labels from all over the world. A website will be available soon as well as new e-mail addresses where you can get a hold of Rémi or big Steeve... Be patient, this band is well worth the wait! ...//... Bad news, Steve Courtemanche (bassist) and Éric Barbe (guitarist) from BRIEF RESPITE have both left the band to pursue more personal interests. Good luck to the guys; you are the coolest! ...//... CORTISOL are recording new stuff for a split with DENTIST, a Grind band featuring Mike, Laurent and P from... CORTISOL! This will be available from the band's own Northern Bitch Records ...//... AGGRESSION's Forgotten Skeleton 12" LP version is now available directly from GWN for 12$: Get in touch! This is a limited edition of 500 copies ...//... TALAMYUS are already writing new stuff which is more Viking-influenced and has more clean vocals! The band will be filming a video for the upcoming GWN Le Brotherhood DVD ...//... PAROXYSM will have its Revelation Is Denied album re-edited with a bonus (Amazing!) video-clip in February! 1000 copies were distributed thus far! New band's shirts are in the work ...//...
