Which New Zealand sites hold on to their audience the longest?

11 May 2005

Regular internet users, those people who have used the internet in the last four weeks, are spending up to 90 more minutes online than they did four years ago, according to Nielsen//NetRatings NetWatch. More time spent online leads to increased familiarity with the medium, and consequentially users are more comfortable taking advantage of the growing variety of web based activities available.

Below is a ranking of visitors to New Zealand websites for the week ending 8 May 2005, drawn from Nielsen//NetRatings Market Intelligence and ranked by average session duration. Average session duration is a measure of the amount of time a user spends on a site per visit (or ‘session’)
