FEATURES

FAVORIT SAM system is intended for highly effective defence of important administrative-political, economical and military installations from air strikes, strategic cruise, aeroballistic, tactical and theatre ballistic missiles in heavy combat and electronic countermeasures environment.

FAVORIT SAM system provides:
• engagement of aerodynamic targets at ranges of up to 200 km;
• desruction of non-strategic ballistic missiles at ranges of up to 40 km;
• effective engagement of all types of targets through modernisation of system facilities, new algorithm of missile guidance and incorporation of the 48H6E2 missile with a modernised warhead;
• enhanced ECCM capabilities;
• high autonomous operation capability of the SAM system;
• possibility of employment of the 48N6E missile used by the S-300PMU1 SAM system;
• possibility of integration into high-level SAM systems.

83M6E2 COMMAND AND CONTROL SYSTEM:
• 54K6E2 Command Post (CP);
• 64N6E2 Detection Radar (DR).

UP TO 6 SURFACE-TO-AIR MISSILE SYSTEMS:
• 30N6E2 Illumination and Guidance Radar (IGR);
• Up to 12 5P85TE2 and/or 5P85CE2 launchers in Transport-Launch Containers (TLC) with four missiles in each.

OPTIONAL COMPONENTS:
• 96L6E all-altitude detection radar;
• 76N6 low attitude detection radar;
• 40V6M tower intended for lifting of the antenna post
