FLV2MP3 is a linux program that extracts the audio track of FLV files to WAV or MP3 files.
This program uses the Macromedia Flash Plugin, so he can converts all audio formats used in FLV files (MP3, Nellymoser, ...).

The program get the raw audio data from the flash plugin by intercepting access to the computer's soundcard (/dev/dsp and /dev/mixer).
This program works also if the computer don't have a soundcard.
You must have the
installed (6 won't work) in your mozilla plugin directory (~/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so) or in the current directory (you can also specify an alternate location with the -p option).
- To convert to mp3 you will need LAME encoder (you can specify the path to lame binary with the -l option).
If don't have a X server you can use flv2mp3 with Xvfb.
$ Xvfb :1 &
$ (DISPLAY=:1; flv2mp3 test.flv test.mp3)
