It's been been a rip-roaring week for the Arctic Monkeys, so what better time than to start confessing about when they made utter divs of themselves?
Last November, the band made a slight error at a show in New York, where they ordered some old bloke out of the seats they'd had reserved for their parents. Unfortunately, the old bloke in question was David Bowie.
An insider explained to the Sun: "The lads were really embarrassed. They didn't think that anyone would turn up to see them play in New York, never mind a legend like Bowie."
Bassist Andy told the tab: "David came up after and said he really enjoyed it. So that's nice."
Well, we're guessing the 'DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?' approach wasn't exactly working, fellas.
