More: Instiki Features

Instiki (What Is Instiki) is a wiki clone so pretty and easy to set up, you’ll wonder if it’s really a wiki.

Three step installation:

  1. Download
  2. Run “instiki” with Ruby 1.8.4 or greater. (on windows, that’s instiki.cmd)
  3. Chuckle… There Is No Step Three™! :) (See note)

Now Instiki is running on port 2500. Visit http://localhost:2500 for quick configuration followed by a text area for the home page….

Note: As of version 0.11.0, this applies only to the windows version. If you are using Linux, please read more about installation. We’ll try to create a “no step three” package for Linux soon.

Instiki only relies on Ruby—the sole external dependency (it includes all other dependencies). Instiki runs on all platforms that Ruby does, including Windows, Linux, and OSX.

Another minor release that gets rid of a major hassle for some people.
