Federal Agents raided a Brandermill home, uncovering an alleged murder plot tied to a man behind bars for fraud. Chetanand Sewraz was arrested for fraud in the beginning of January, now authorities are charging the man for allegedly manufacturing a deadly toxin inside his home and plotting to kill his estranged wife.
AFT agents in Florida issued warrants against Sewraz, accusing him of possessing an incendiary bomb to blow up his estranged wife's car. His estranged wife currently lives in Florida. FBI agents and local detectives searched the home on Fortunes Ridge Court, finding evidence of ricin manufacturing.
Right now, Sewraz is behind bars in Chesterfield County Jail without bond. He faces fraud charges for allegedly buying electronics online then cancelling the order after it had been shipped to his home. Due to the timing of the cancellation Sewraz would still receive the order, then return the electronics to local stores for a cash refund.
He has also been linked to a bogus research business called Nanecore Systems. Police say Sewraz recruited young people, promised high salaries then gave them meaningless projects and didn't pay out the promised cash.
