Innovative Retailer of the Year Award

The Innovative Retailer of the Year award is presented annually at Retail Council of Canada's Excellence in Retailing Awards show. The award is presented to a company that has demonstrated outstanding market leadership and innovative approaches to customer and employee relations. Through creative ideas and strong delivery, the winning retailer has taken their brand to the top of their class. The method of execution may vary, but the overwhelming success of the program is undisputable.

Selected by RCC's Board of Directors, the winner is announced in April each year.

The award is presented at the Excellence in Retailing Awards Dinner, held in conjunction with STORE - Canada's Retail Conference.

This award may be presented to retailers in three different size categories (small/independent, mid-sized, and large).
