SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Welcome aboard the gomanga.com online submissions page!

If you would like to submit sample work to Seven Seas Entertainment, please read this page in full before using the submissions form linked at the bottom of this page. If you still have questions after reading these submission guidelines, then you may ask them in the Q&A; thread found in our forum.

For all e-mail correspondence and inquiries not related to submissions, please use the form located on this page.

SUBMISSION REVIEW PROCESS
Due to the large quantity of submissions we receive, Seven Seas does not guarantee a response. While we do review all submissions, please do not expect a reply from our editorial department and do not contact us to ask about the current status of your submission. (We wish we could reply to everyone, but we're simply too busy making our own manga to respond to each submission.)

To clarify: Seven Seas does not send any form of rejection letter if your work is not accepted.

If we are interested in your work, we will contact you directly via the contact information you have provided. We are unable to post deal terms, page rates or schedules. Any such information pertaining to these topics will be discussed if we are interested in pursuing work with you.

ARTISTS
Seven Seas Entertainment is currently accepting sequential art related samples drawn by artists in authentic manga style. Penciled, inked and/or toned sequential artwork is preferable to pin-ups. Artists are welcome to link to samples of their work by using our submissions form (linked below) and to supply us with links to their online portfolio, further drawing samples and/or published works (this includes print and webcomic/webmanga).

WRITERS
For legal reasons, Seven Seas Entertainment will not accept any unsolicited series proposals and/or manuscripts.

ARTIST/WRITER TEAMS
If you have an existing webcomic/webmanga or other sequential art samples that are currently on the web, then you may follow the guidelines outlined in the artist section above. Again, for legal reasons, Seven Seas Entertainment will not accept any unsolicited series proposals and/or manuscripts.

TIPS FOR SUBMISSIONS
- Show us your sequential artwork (i.e. manga pages.) Pin-up illustrations alone do not allow us to judge your ability to tell a story in a visual medium.

- Supply us with a link to your website or online portfolio if you have one.

- Tell us how long it took to draw the samples you are submitting. Speed is a plus, but we know that artists get faster with practice. (Quality is more important to us than quantity. So if your work is great, we will not penalize you for being slow.)

- Make sure to submit your best work possible to attract our attention. Also, make sure that it looks like authentic manga. We seek only the highest quality.

- Any questions you may have about these Submission Guidelines can be asked in the Q&A; thread found in our forum.
