OFFICIALS IN the Syrian Public Relations Association say that Dr. David Duke, a former member of the House of Representatives in Louisiana, has dramatically improved the view of the Syrian people and the entire Arabic Middle East toward Americans.

An antique dealer in the Old City of Damascus said, "Dr. David Duke made me realize that the American people are quite different than the Jewish extremist Neocons who now control American foreign policy."

Jameel, a coed student at the University of Damascus said that she now realizes more clearly that in some ways America is occupied -- much like parts of Syria such as the Golan Heights. "Here, the Jewish supremacists do it with guns. In America they do it through media control and political bribery. We are all victims of the same problem."

Dr. Habash, one of the major leaders in the Syrian Parliament said:

"Dr. David Duke's wonderful visit has given us a new and very positive view of the average American. Syria has never in any way harmed the American people. Israel has committed terrorist attacks against America, both in the Lavon Incident and the attack on the American ship the Liberty when 34 Americans were killed and 173 Americans were scarred and burned in a terrorist attack by Israel. Syria has never spied on America or harmed America as did Israeli government spy Jonathan Pollard. It is Israel that is America's real enemy -- as Parliamentarian David Duke has proved."

The Grand Mufti of Syria, the respected and preeminent Syrian religious leader, welcomed Dr. David Duke and thanked him for bringing Syria the true feelings of the American people. He said:

"The Iraq War has resulted in not only the harming of many thousands of Iraqis but also in thousands of Americans dead and many thousands of Americans hurt. For what is this war but, as Dr. Duke has shown, a war for Israel in which both Arabs and Americans have been harmed? Thank you, Dr. Duke, for your courage in bringing us this message of peace and of friendship. My God's peace and love be upon both our peoples."

A professor of history at Damascus State University commented,

"The Zionists now lie about Dr. David Duke and label him a White supremacist. The truth is, as Dr. Duke has shown in his book, Jewish Supremacism, that Israel is the most extreme example of racist supremacy on earth."

"We researched Dr. Duke's writings, some of which go back now over 30 years. We found that he wants to preserve his European heritage and traditions just as we Arab Muslims seek the same for our own countries. We respect him for that -- as he respects us."

"A supremacist wants to control other peoples. That is exactly what the Zionists want, to control other peoples, the Middle East, the world. Jewish extremists always accuse everyone else of their own faults. For over 30 years Dr. Duke has consistently defended Palestinians and Arabs in general from Zionist attacks. We are honored to have him visit us in Syria."

One of the top journalists in the world, who resides in Syria, Dr. Nidal Kabalan said that Dr. David Duke has lessened anger toward America.

"Israel has always wanted to deflect anger from themselves to America and others. Dr. Duke's presence focuses attention on the true danger to both European-Americans and Arabs -- Jewish Extremism."

"David Duke's message here makes all Americans wherever they are sleep safer and easier. His exemplary courage in speaking out against Zionism has done more for the American image in the Arab world than any other American I can name. And his book, Jewish Supremacism is by far the best book on the subject from either an Arab or Occidental source. If American foreign policy wasn't run by Israeli partisans, they would appoint him as America's ambassador at large to heal the anti-American sentiment growing around the world."

Dr. Duke comments: I came to the new hotspot of the neocon war for Israel to get a better understanding of Syria and the realities of life and politics that exist here.

I have found a nation far different from the one portrayed in the Jewish-dominated media, and even different from the subliminal expectations the Jewish extremists have instilled in me over the years.

Some of the media have called me Senator, others Congressman, others Representative.

The local press doesn't always get things right, especially through the fog of translation. And, they really don't quite understand American politics. Some of the news reports go from Arabic to English to Arabic, etc. But I am always careful to note clearly that I was a member of the House of Representatives in Louisiana, and a former elected chairman of the largest Republican district Political Executive Committee in the state.

Of course, the important thing to them is that I am an American who was elected to public office, who dares to stand up to Israel and the Jewish supremacists.

The trip has been interesting to say the least. I have appeared on Damascus and satellite TV to the point of saturation. My latest interview was with an internationally recognized journalist here for an interview on the subject of Jewish supremacism. I won't give his name here, but I had never met him or corresponded with him prior to my Damascus visit. He has interviewed American presidents and many world leaders over the years, and looks a lot like Peter Jennings.

He found out I was here in Damascus, and sought me out. His first words to me on the phone were, "My Awakening was the best book I ever read. I read it practically all night long for three days, and have re-read it twice since. I would love to have you on my TV program." This highly respected journalist -- respected all over the world -- wants to write the foreword to the next Arabic edition of Jewish Supremacism (which will appear in about 3 months).

I have met many members of Parliament; Catholic and Protestant clergy; as well as Muslim scholars who came to my press conference to cheer me on!

Their questions in the question and answer session sounded like what our people would ask on our forum; they were very, very supportive in every way.

The country is quite nice actually, not at all the image the Jewish supremacist media have created, with almost no crime, fantastic food, and much music and friendliness.

I have learned a lot here, made a number of speeches, and had personal meetings with the nation's top scholars, educators, and leaders.

Tomorrow I make a formal speech to the most famous university in the Mideast, Damascus State University. Every bit of education of people on the Jewish extremist threat helps educate our own nation's people as well -- with today's links and connections and contacts, words and ideas spread across cultural and national boundaries at almost the speed of light. As a result of my Damascus appearances, much western and eastern European media now want interviews on the forbidden topic of Jewish supremacism!

I hope it is encouraging for our people back in the USA to know that in many places around the world is it permissible, even laudable, to speak about Jewish supremacism. The very best people of this country are 100 percent supportive of me, and so many invitations come in from major organizations that we simply can't accommodate them all in the time allotted.

I am mobbed by appreciative people at some appearances, just as I was mobbed in Louisiana as we fought for election to the U.S. Senate and state governorship.

My book has literally forced the Arab intellectual community to talk about the deeper issues of the Jewish threat -- that it is not simply a continuation of colonialism, but an entirely different creature, one that threatens all mankind. Jewish Supremacism has been an incredible education for the Islamic world as to the real nature of the problem.

Due to the Jewish attacks on me in international media, all the people know that I want to preserve European heritage in America and Europe, and that I oppose massive immigration from non-Europeans -- but they understand that position and are just thankful that someone from the West dares to stand up against Israel and Jewish extremist power.

They like many things about America, but can't understand how Bush and the Jewish neocons are trying to start a war against a country that only wants peace and friendship with America. The Syrian government has never harmed a single American, while Israel has made terrorist attacks against the United States on more than one occasion.

They are amazed that Americans can't see this. But, of course, they have a much more free media than do we -- and they have a government that actually looks out for their own people's basic interests, instead of the interests of a foreign nation.
