At the EPpy-center of it all

Adorable little SciGuy is right! I could pinch his smart little cheeks for this!

MeMo has been nominated for something, an actual national-type award: An EPpy, from Editor & Publisher, an actual national-type publication of actual credibility. MeMo is one of three on the short list for best media-related entertainment blog!

Dude. If I'd known that's what I was writing, I'd have tried harder. I wonder how many pictures of busted smoothies and spilled salsa the Chicago Tribune ran. on their media-related entertainment blog. (Having worked for their company, I can say this: If they did run a photo of a spilled smoothie, they'd scrape it up and make somebody drink it. It's perfectly good!)

Anyway, my pals Richard Justice and the Enron posse are also nominated for EPpies, the cuties. Party at Evil Dwight's house if they win. Party at MeMo's house if I win. Y'all invited.

MeMo, congrats. Does this make you a mover and shaker now? If you win, are you serving spilled smoothies at your party? They're all the rage suddenly.

(BTW, the link above - "the best media-related entertainment blog" - takes me to the Microsoft home page. Talk about a buzz-killer...)

It's doing that because there are two https in the link.

Ah, see how smart you are? Fixed it. Thanks.

When you are up on stage, teary eyed, accepting your
bronze statue, don' forget to thank the little people. And if you lose, don't cross body check the
winner.
Loren certainly deserves top honors. Not sure why
Richard the Pinata is up for one. Maybe it's a mercy
nomination for all the abuse he takes.
Hope ya don' get a large head about this. If there is
a physical award, howa bout a in focus pic of it.

Congratulations! Wonder what kind of swag you get at an Editor and Publisher awards ceremony?
