As of January 2001, development of NetSaint is now being done through the CVS tree at SourceForge.
Browse The CVS Tree
You can browse through the NetSaint CVS tree by clicking here.
Anonymous CVS Access
The NetSaint CVS repository can be checked out through anonymous (pserver) CVS with the following instruction set. The module you wish to check out must be specified as the modulename (see below for a description of available modules). When prompted for a password for anonymous, simply press the Enter key.
cvs -d:pserver:email@example.com:/cvsroot/netsaint login cvs -z3 -d:pserver:firstname.lastname@example.org:/cvsroot/netsaint co modulename
Updates from within the module's directory do not need the -d parameter.
Automatic Notification Of CVS Commits
If you really want to stay on top of the latest development code by getting automatic email messages when changes are commited to the CVS tree, consider joining the netsaint-cvs mailing list.
There will be three main CVS modules for NetSaint that you will probably be interested in. They are as follows:
As of right now, only the netsaint-alpha and netsaint-beta modules exists. Bug fixes and code changes for future betas will be made in the netsaint-beta module. When the beta versions stabilize, the code will be imported into the netsaint-stable module. At some point (probably after two or three betas), I will begin working on the 0.0.8 alpha code, at which time the netsaint-alpha module will become active again. This alpha-beta-stable cycle will continue as new versions are developed.
