Shiokazecon and Tofu Records are excited to bring you HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR live in concert Friday, April 28th! Best known for their theme song “Pride” for the series Gundam Seed Destiny, this exciting new band continues to gain popularity in Japan.

The roots of Okinawan sextet HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR can be traced back to a Metallica cover band that members MEG (guitar) and SASSY (drums) decided to start in high school. They were soon joined by classmates KAZUTO (guitar), mACKAz (bass) and YUSUKE (vocals) and formed a new band, going by the name ANTI-NOBUNGA. Still in their teens, the band won numerous awards at band contests in and out of Okinawa with their great technique and impressive performance skills and was heralded as the next in a long line of legendary rock acts to come out of the prefecture.
