We at IUF believe that good policy is the result of an intense symbiosis between research and politics. Where "think tanks" rely solely upon ideology to determine policy, the IUF looks first to political, economic, and cultural indicators to measure public interest and economic reality. By keeping our fingers on the pulse of society, we find better ways of implementing free market policies that the public may find difficult to accept.
To ensure that IUF would make a difference in the policy debate, the organization was designed as an "idea mill". Our staff is horizontally positioned to leverage our capabilities in economic and regulatory analysis, media, political consulting, opinion research, and international affairs.
