Launched
in September 2004 and supported by the National Hockey League and
six NHL Teams, including the
New York Rangers, Ace's Got Skills is modeled after the NHL's popular
All-Star Super Skills Competition and gives boys and girls ages
11-12 the opportunity to come out and test their skill level in
the following key ice hockey categories: fastest skater, most accurate
shooter, best puck handler, hardest shot and best goalie. All registration
fees collected by the program will benefit the Ace Bailey Children's
Foundation.

The New York Rangers PeeWee Hockey Club is operated primarily to participate
in the annual Quebec International PeeWee Hockey Tournament that is held each
year in February in Quebec City. The Rangers team is selected from players that
reside in the New York Metropolitan area. Players are selected based upon their
skill as a hockey player, their dedication to the sport, as well as their exemplary
off-ice conduct. The objective of the team is to provide such deserving players
with an opportunity to play with and against other equally talented players,
and to experience the culture and competition that makes this Quebec Tournament
the "Olympics of PeeWee hockey."
