Hi, I am Michael J. knox. I am currently an ambassador for Hamilton New Zealand, but since we are short on ambassadors for New Zealand, I represent New Zealand until some other like minded people join the ambassador group. I am also a Fedora Extras maintainer, a list of packages I look after can be found towards the end of this page.

I'm am 27 years old, I live in Hamilton with my soon to be wife, Nadia, our cat, Carwash and our axolotl. I also have two childern, they live further south of me, in Palmerston North, with their mother. Shayden (8 yrs old) and Sharkia (6 yrs old and no, not named after the singer!).

For work, I am gainfully employed with Endace Technologies, where I am a level 3 techincal/development support engineer. I also work on our software products, including writing a FreeBSD kernel driver and some network data generation/manipulation tools.
