Glagow-born Andrew Barrowman signed for Birmingham City when he was 16. He is a Scottish youth international who has represented his country at U16, U17, U18 and U19 levels and is now pushing for U21 recognition.
He was previously with Glasgow Rangers for four years, and the young centre forward had a successful loan spell with Crewe in late 2003, where he played five games in the first team and scored once.
In the 2004/05 campaign, Barrowman was loaned out again, this time to Blackpool. However, after making only two substitute appearances for The Seasiders, he returned to St. Andrews an unhappy man.
He also spent time on loan at Mansfield towards the end of the campaign, but will looking forward to more chances to break into the first team at St Andrews.
