The ParasiteLab facilitates research and project collaborations between socially engaged artists, science studies scholars, and scientists from the engineering, computer science and life science disciplines. The ParasiteLab specifically furthers research activities that are designed for active public participation and interaction. The lab engages cultural spaces, social situations and technological applications. We develop technologies, transform existing technologies and break common assumptions about their usage.
