Professional Interests
My research focuses on identifying linguistic and motoric factors that influence the development of fluency and stuttering in children. My research is also aimed at improving the diagnosis and treatment of people who stutter through assessment of current clinical practices and documentation of treatment outcomes. I teach classes on stuttering and counseling individuals with communication disorders and conduct workshops to help clinicians feel more comfortable with their ability to work with people who stutter. For more details, please review my curriculum vitae.
